This restaurant, no matter the environment, food or service, is very satisfying. The steak ordered seems to be 13 ounces, very large, a girl should not be able to eat. The environment is very safe.

Relatively difficult to find, but there is a hole in it, the environment is good, the service is not bad

I went all out and ordered #27 ($10.99 | Double cheeseburger, w/ bacon &amp; egg). The combo w/ fries and drink was $1.50, and after a 20% discount for Yelp checkin, the total cost was $10.90 inc tax. First of all, the burger literally brok da mout!!! I had to unhinge my jaw to get my mouth around it. I could have easily been filled on a single, because I only ate half the burger. However, the first bite was nothing short of amazing. The meat was super juicy and nicely seasoned. It also included lettuce, red onion and tomatoes. The only rec I have is to make the egg over easy vs scrambled. Nonetheless, I would stack this burger up against any of the gourmet burgers in town including 25 Degrees, Slaters &amp; Umami: 5+++ Stars. Secondarily, the fries were steak style, and there were plenty of them. The combo w/ the drink is a ridiculous bargain: 5 Stars. This place is a total hole in the wall. You stand in line, place your order, and come get your order when they call your number. There is seating under a plastic tarp to your left, and some stand up seating to your right. Everyone is chill despite it being somewhat hectic. Likewise, the service was very good after an initial mistake. My order was filled in 12 minutes, and the staff is real friendly: 5 Stars. Hawkins touts itself as having the best burgers in LA: I wholeheartedly agree!!!

Hawkins are known for their burgers. It&#39;s a small family business. The burgers are like 100% beef nothing like a McDonald&#39;s burger. It&#39;s more authentic. The patties are thicker. The buns are toasted. The onions are grilled. Because they are so good and have reasonable prices, you have to wait in a long line that goes out the door. There is also an approximate 20 minute wait to get your food but it&#39;s worth the wait. This is not a sit down style restaurant. It looks like a &quot;hole in the wall&quot; type place but their food is good. It&#39;s just a cook to order home style type place. The location is on the corner of a major street and there is no parking. Some people park in the lot across the way. Side note: They also cook fried chicken here.

My husband and I stopped here on our way from the airport to Palm Springs. After a long flight and only having snacks to eat, we were both starving. Hawkins did not disappoint! The staff inside were very friendly, and welcomed us as newcomers. I even got to sample some of the chili before I made my final selection. I got a chili cheese burger with jalape&ntilde;os and lots of mustard. He had the bacon cheese burger with all the fixins. We probably should have split one burger. Each one probably weighed half a pound! From ordering to food delivery, we were there probably 30 minutes. They have a covered eating area outside.
